Your safety is our priority. Please follow these guidelines for a worry-free Diwali.

What You Should Do

  • Always burst crackers in open, clear spaces.
  • Keep a bucket of water and sand nearby for emergencies.
  • Use a long agarbatti (incense stick) to ignite crackers.
  • Wear thick cotton clothes; avoid synthetic or loose fabrics.
  • Keep children under adult supervision at all times.
  • Store un-burnt crackers in a closed wooden or tin box.

What To Avoid

  • Never ignite crackers while holding them in your hand.
  • Don't try to re-light "dud" crackers that didn't go off.
  • Avoid bursting crackers near electric poles or wires.
  • Never burst crackers inside the house or on balconies.
  • Don't carry crackers in your pockets.
  • Never use matches or lighters; they are too close to the fuse.
